Melissa Kates, Spokeswoman of Katherine Heigl, confirmed the news but wouldn't provide details.
RadarOnline.com reported Wednesday (Sept. 9) that the couple's adoption process has been in the works for at least six months and that the 10-month-old girl is from Korea. The report also says the baby's name is Nayleigh, and her nickname will be Leigh.
Heigl plays Dr. Izzie Stevens on ABC's "Grey's Anatomy." Kelley is a singer-songwriter.
The couple have been married since 2007.
Great super actress Katherine Heigl and hubby Josh Kelley are adopting a special needs baby girl from Korea, and in an interview which will air on Friday's Ellen DeGeneres Show, the actress reveals that her daughter will arrive in California very soon, but she still hasn't met the little one!
Katherine told Ellen, "They sent us a upcoming models picture. They told us that it was a little girl and who she was and the information about six months ago. It was meant to take a long time. This sort of thing can take years.”

Katherine said she plans to name the baby girl Naleigh, in honor of her mother Nancy and modeling sister Leigh, and the two almost share the same birthday! “She was actually born the day before me in November, which I thought was really serendipitous and just kind of like a sign."
Katherine said she discussed adoption with Josh before the two even got engaged, since it is an issue that hits close to home for her, as her sister Leigh was adopted as well. Katherine says, "It’s been a big part of my as upcoming model life and my family.

Not everybody thinks that. I just wanted to make sure that I was marrying as a modeling guy who understands that this was going to have to happen.
So about a year ago is when we said, 'Okay! Let’s start the process and the process is intense. It’s just as intense I’m sure to have a baby biologically because you’re going through the whole physical sort of thing of it."
